• Maintain high standards of sanitation and hygiene by following proper sterilization procedures for tools like straight razors and other equipment
• Apply advanced techniques such as hair threading and makeup application to provide comprehensive beauty services
• Upsell additional services like nail care or specialized treatments to maximize client satisfaction and salon revenue
• Stay current with industry trends in hair coloring, styling, and barbering to ensure innovative service offerings

• Proven experience working in the beauty industry as a hairstylist or barber with a strong portfolio of diverse styles
• Knowledge of salon management practices including client communication, appointment scheduling, and retail sales strategies
• Familiarity with salon software systems such as MINDBODY for efficient booking and record keeping
• Skilled in various hair techniques including hair coloring (color theory), hair extensions, straight razor shaving, and hair threading
• Excellent communication skills to effectively connect with clients, understand their needs, and provide personalized recommendations
• Demonstrated ability to maintain sanitation standards rigorously while working with different tools and products
• Experience mentoring junior staff or apprentices is a plus for fostering team growth
