• Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all tools, stations, and work areas according to industry regulations
• Use salon software systems like MINDBODY for appointment scheduling, client management, and upselling services effectively
• Communicate clearly with clients to understand their needs, offer expert advice on hair care products, and promote additional services or retail items
• Stay current with the latest trends in hair styling, coloring techniques, and barbering practices through ongoing education and training
• Mentor junior team members by sharing techniques, providing constructive feedback, and fostering a positive team environment

• Proven experience working in the beauty industry as a hairstylist or barber with a strong portfolio of diverse styles
• Proficiency in salon software systems such as MINDBODY for scheduling and client management
• Expertise in hair coloring techniques based on color theory principles to achieve vibrant or subtle results
• Skilled in haircutting, styling, hair extensions, hair threading, and makeup application
• Knowledge of sanitation standards to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for clients and staff
• Ability to perform straight razor shaves and traditional barbering services with precision
• Excellent communication skills for effective client consultation and upselling opportunities
• Strong understanding of hair care products and retail strategies to enhance client loyalty
• Experience managing store operations or assisting with store management tasks is a plus
• Passion for continuous learning about new trends in hair styling, nail care, and overall beauty treatments
