Barqz Beauty Lounge & Wellness Spa is hiring talented Licensed Hairstylists and Braiders to join our growing team in Jamaica, Queens. Whether your strength is cutting, color, and styling - or braids, twists, and protective styles - we want to meet you. A versatile stylist who does both is a big plus.
What You'll Do- Stylists: cuts, color, styling, and treatments across all hair types and textures
- Braiders: box braids, knotless braids, cornrows, twists, locs, weaves, and protective styles; extension and wig installs
- Consult with clients to deliver looks that fit their hair and lifestyle
- Maintain a clean, sanitized station in full compliance with NY State health regulations
- Build and retain clientele
- Manage your book through our online system (Vagaro)
- Valid New York State Cosmetology license (for cutting, color, and styling) - required
- Strong skills in your specialty across all hair types and textures
- Professional, dependable, and client-focused
- Bilingual a plus
