Hair Stylist Assistant
Job Description
We are looking for Hair Stylist Assistants to wash and care for our customers.
Assistant responsibilities include washing, glazing/toning hair, sweeping, laundry, and dishes. Ultimately, you will ensure all customers leave our salon satisfied with our services and feel happy with their new looks.
Responsibilities- Welcome customers and take them to their stylist
- Wash and rinse clients' hair using appropriate shampoos and conditioners (e.g. for oily hair or dry scalp)
- Apply toners and glazes for stylists
- Laundry, sweeping, and keeping the salon tidy
- Apply hair treatment products, as needed, such as masks and conditioning treatments
- Ensure tidiness of beauty stations and sterilize tools, as needed
- Work experience with people
- Proficiency in washing hair
- Hands-on experience with various coloring techniques
- Familiarity with hair treatment products
- Excellent communication skills
- Physical stamina to stand for long hours
- Flexibility to work in shifts
