Job Description
We're looking for a skilled, detail-oriented braider to join our team. Whether it's box braids, knotless braids, cornrows, faux locs, or protective styling, our clients trust us to deliver clean, long-lasting work — and we need someone who takes real pride in the craft.You'll be responsible for:

• Sectioning and installing a range of braid styles (knotless, box, cornrows, twists, locs, etc.) with precision and consistency
• Advising clients on style options, maintenance, and scalp health based on their hair type
• Managing appointment timing so clients aren't kept waiting longer than necessary
• Keeping your station and tools sanitized between every client
• Building repeat clientele, serving walk-in and scheduled clients

• Proven braiding experience (licensed cosmetologist or natural hair specialist certification where required by New York)
• Steady hands and the stamina for multi-hour appointments
• A portfolio of recent work (Instagram, photos, or in-person consultation)
• Strong time management
• A calm, welcoming demeanor; many clients sit with us for hours and want to feel comfortable
• Willingness to stay current on new techniques and trends

• Commission or booth rental — payment type is depending on hire type
• Flexible scheduling options for full-time/part-time
• A loyal, referral-heavy client base already in place
