Location: Valley Cottage
Dementia Aide
Nyack Ridge Rehab is seeking a compassionate and dependable Dementia Aide to provide person‑centered care to residents living with dementia in a supportive, structured environment.
ShiftSunday – Thursday, 10:30 AM – 6:30 PM
Responsibilities- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Provide calm reassurance, redirection, and emotional support.
- Monitor and report changes in condition or behavior.
- Support structured routines and resident activities.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and respectful care environment.
- Experience working with dementia or memory care residents is required
- CNA certification preferred (if applicable)
- Must be fluent in English
- Compassionate, patient, and team-oriented
