Job Description
Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Skilled Nursing Facility
Now Staffing Speech Language Pathologists for Rehab Department in state-of-the-art SNFs throughout NYC and Surrounding Areas. Flagstar Rehab SLPs work with a diverse and multi-disciplinary team to perform evaluations, treatments, and patient/family education to improve the speech and swallow capabilities of their patients and improve ability to function in their daily lives. Not accepting Clinical Fellows (CFY) at this time.

Hourly Pay Rate: $46 Hourly (W-2), $57 Hourly (1099)
Job Duties- Provide efficient speech or swallow evaluations and/or screens of patients
- Develop plan of care, downgrade/upgrade as appropriate, manage meal texture
- Provide quality therapy services to individuals in an SNF setting, who require care related to TBI, CVA, Stroke, Parkinson’s, Multiple Sclerosis, Cancer, orthopedic surgery, and other debilitating diagnosis.
- Monitor and document patient progress with the use of innovative EMR software.

- Current NYS SLP License and Registration
- Clinical Competence Certification (CCC)
- CPR Certificate
- EMR Competence
- Meets all State and Federal requirements for US employment in a Nursing Facility
