We are currently recruiting new part time Bilingual English/Spanish LMSW clinicians to join our Bronx-Based Article-31 Mental Health Clinic, VIDA Guidance Center. This role serves as a part time therapist, providing individual therapy to children, adults, and families.
Part Time commitment is between 12-16 hours per week with a regular weekly commitment to work shifts falling within the operations hours of the center (Hours falling between Monday to Thursday 9a-8p, Fridays 9a-5p, and Saturdays 9a-2p).
- Master s Degree in Social Work required.
- NYS Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW).
- Bilingual English and Spanish required.
- Proficiency with evidence-based modalities.
- 2 years of previous experience in a mental health clinic, hospital, behavioral health, or similar setting required.
- Completes documentation in accordance with OMH regulations. Monitors treatment plans for patients.
- Provides bio-psychosocial assessments and clinical diagnostic assessments.
- Conducts individual psychotherapy.
- Maintains skills and knowledge in clinical theory and practice to help patients overcome dependencies, adjust to life, and make changes.
- Provides counseling to family members to assist with understanding and supporting patients.
- Engages in crisis intervention when necessary and refers patients or family to community resources.
- Provides consultation to medical providers. Collaborates with physicians to develop and implement treatment and intervention programs.
- Participates in clinical team meetings.
Minimum $55.00 per hour;
Maximum $55.00 per hour.
Onsite, Bronx, NY. Shifts fall between Mondays and Saturdays.
