Columbia University Medical Center - Salary Range: $50.00 - $73.00
The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. Position SummaryThe Department of Otolaryngology Head & Neck Surgery at Columbia University College of Physicians & Surgeons is seeking a per diem Clinical Audiologist (VHO).
Responsibilities- The individual will be responsible for providing diagnostic services to a busy ENT center.
- Diagnostics will focus on complete audiometric evaluations, including immittance and OAEs (Otoacoustic Emissions) for both adults and pediatric patients.
- Interpret test results and provide patient counseling.
- Document evaluations and recommendations in Epic.
- Ensure compliance with state licensure, HIPPA and clinical protocols.
- Participate in quality improvement and department initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in education and experience, plus 4 years of related experience.
- Complete audiometric evaluation, Administering and interpreting VNG testing.
- EPIC experience.
- Experience in a fast-paced environment, working closely with AuD and ENT Colleagues.
- Applicant must be licensed in the State of New York as an Audiologist.
- Doctorate of Audiology.
- Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence.
- Experience working with complex otology cases.
