Job DescriptionWe are seeking a part‑time Licensed Massage Therapist to join our on‑site team in New York, NY as a W‑2 employee. In this role, you will provide high‑level prenatal, postpartum, and therapeutic massage tailored to each client’s unique needs, with an emphasis on safety, comfort, and communication.
Role Description- Conducting thorough intakes and assessments to understand client goals, concerns, and contraindications.
- Providing prenatal, postpartum, and therapeutic massage sessions consistent with our standards of care.
- Supporting clients with stress reduction, pain relief, and functional comfort through appropriate techniques and positioning.
- Maintaining a calm, professional, and inclusive atmosphere in the treatment room.
- Documenting sessions accurately and collaborating with the team to ensure continuity of care.
As a W‑2 employee, you will receive all required employer‑paid contributions and statutory benefits applicable to your role and hours worked (such as payroll tax contributions and mandated New York benefits for employees).
Qualifications- Demonstrated skills in therapeutic, body, and prenatal massage (prenatal or perinatal experience strongly preferred; training available for the right candidate).
- Experience helping clients manage stress, discomfort, and anxiety through touch and clear communication.
- Proficiency or interest in specialized techniques (e.g., Shiatsu, myofascial, lymphatic, or perinatal‑focused modalities).
- Excellent client‑care skills, including the ability to create a warm, professional, and respectful environment.
- Current New York State Massage Therapy license in good standing.
- CPR certification and strong knowledge of safety, ethics, and hygiene are preferred.
