PositionDescription of the Medical Biller:
We are looking for a dedicated Medical Biller for our Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) to oversee all billing and reimbursement operations. This is a full-time, in-person position with a FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE offering excellent WORK LIFE BALANCE and good PTO.
Qualifications of the Medical Biller:- 2+ years of medical billing experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting
- Proficiency in Sigma and Relia Care billing systems
- Strong working knowledge of Medicare (billed monthly), Medicare HMO (billed monthly), and Medicaid (billed weekly) reimbursement processes
- Process and submit Medicare, Medicare HMO, and Medicaid claims accurately and on time (Medicare monthly, Medicare HMO monthly, Medicaid weekly)
- Utilize Sigma and Relia Care systems for billing, tracking, and reporting
- Follow up on denied or outstanding claims and work with insurance carriers to resolve issues
