Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Are you a detail-oriented and safety-focused Nuclear Technician ready to support critical operations in a highly regulated environment? We are seeking a qualified professional to assist with operations, maintenance, and monitoring activities at our New York facility. The ideal candidate will support the safe handling of nuclear materials, conduct radiation monitoring, perform equipment maintenance, and ensure full regulatory compliance in accordance with NRC and New York State guidelines.

Pay Range: $85 - $90

Shift: Day M-F 5

• Operate, monitor, and maintain nuclear systems and related equipment
• Perform radiation surveys and contamination monitoring
• Assist with reactor or radiological operations (as applicable to facility type)
• Conduct routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting
• Document operational data and maintain accurate logs and reports
• Ensure compliance with NRC, OSHA, and NY State regulations
• Support emergency preparedness drills and safety procedures
• Calibrate and maintain radiation detection instruments.

• Associate’s degree in Nuclear Technology,
• 2+ years of experience in nuclear power, radiological environments, medical nuclear facilities,
• Knowledge of radiation safety principles and nuclear systems
• Familiarity with NRC regulations and safety standards
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Ability to wear protective equipment and work in controlled environments
• Excellent documentation and communication skills

ARRT or NMTCB Certification in Nuclear Medicine and Post-Secondary Certification in Computed Tomography, and experience in Siemens Biograph Vision PET/CT.
