Assistant Director of Nursing – Behavioral Health – Brooklyn, NY
A leading healthcare organization is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing to support operations across Behavioral Health services within a high‑acuity, safety‑net hospital environment. This is a strong leadership opportunity with excellent support and the ability to positively impact patient safety, quality outcomes, and staff engagement.
Responsibilities- Support 24/7 clinical operations across inpatient and emergency Behavioral Health services
- Drive quality and evidence‑based psychiatric care aligned with regulatory and best‑practice standards
- Assist with staffing, budgeting, and performance management
- Partner with medical leadership and support patient safety, restraint reduction, and therapeutic care initiatives
- Master’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field
- Behavioral Health / Psychiatric nursing leadership experience preferred
