* Location:

New York-Presbyterian Queens – Flushing, NY

* What You’ll Do:

*** Escort patients throughout the hospital with courtesy and care
* Respond promptly and politely to patient needs and questions
* Build meaningful connections with patients and families
* Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure patient safety
* Transport medical records, lab specimens, equipment, and more
* Change O2 tanks and apply O2 regulators as needed
** Schedule Details:**
* ** Full-Time Day Shift**: 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm
* ** Days/Week**:
Weekdays and Weekends (alternating)
* ** Holidays Required**
* ** Weekends required for the first 2 years.
**** Required Criteria:
*** Must be able to read and write English
* Ability to follow simple directions
* Basic clerical skills for logging patient names and destinations
* Planning skills to efficiently route patient transports
*
* Preferred Qualifications:

*** High School Diploma or GED
* Strong customer service background
* Experience in hospitality or healthcare environments
* A passion for putting patients first
** The shift includes weekdays, weekends and holidays and requires registration with the 1199 Job Security Fund.

Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.NYP will not reimburse for travel expenses.
