Overview
Large Cardiology Practice located in Kew Gardens, Queens, is seeking a Prior Authorization Specialist that meets the following requirements:

Health benefits and above market rates are offered for the right candidate(s).
Qualifications- Proven experience with insurance verification of commercial and HMO plans and ability to demonstrate understanding of technical medical terminology (e.g. copayment, deductible, coinsurance, primary/ secondary payor, referral).
- Proven experience with obtaining prior authorizations for various exams through Evicore, AIM, Healthcare Partners websites, as well as directly from insurance companies via phone.
- Ability to communicate professionally and efficiently on the phone and in person.
