Role DescriptionLang Hand Therapy is seeking a Per Diem Hand Therapist for an on-site position in New York, NY. The therapist will assess, develop, and implement individualized hand and upper extremity rehabilitation plans to address patients unique needs. Daily tasks include conducting evaluations, creating customized treatment plans, fabrication of custom upper extremity orthotics, providing hands-on therapy, educating patients on proper techniques, and documenting patient progress in accordance with established standards.
Qualifications- Proficiency in assessment, treatment planning, and rehabilitation techniques for hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder therapy.
- Proficiency in fabricating custom upper extremity orthotics
- Strong skills in patient education, progress documentation, and outcome measurement.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a client-centered, hands-on therapy environment.
- Certification as a Hand Therapist (CHT) or relevant advanced training in hand and upper extremity rehabilitation.
- Licensure as an Occupational Therapist or Physical Therapist in the state of New York.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in outpatient therapy settings is a plus, along with familiarity with current therapeutic techniques and modalities.
