Job Summary

We are seeking a Patient Services Manager to lead our Patient Services Team within an Acute Care environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Develops goals and oversees the execution of patient food service needs based on medical guidance and patient population requirements

* Recruits, trains, coaches, and supports the ongoing development of patient services team members

* Ensures compliance with all dietary restrictions and modified diet orders while meeting patient food preferences within established guidelines

* Drives patient satisfaction by guiding staff in meeting or exceeding service expectations

* Adheres to all regulatory standards-including federal, state, and accrediting bodies-while upholding facility confidentiality, HIPAA requirements, and patient rights

* Participates in and/or leads patient satisfaction initiatives, departmental meetings, and facility-wide Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement programs

Qualifications

* Associate degree with at least one (1) year of experience in food services or a related field, or a bachelor's degree in food service technology/management or a related discipline

* Certified Dietary Manager, Registered Diet Technician, or Registered Dietitian credentials preferred

* Minimum of one (1) year food service management experience, ideally in an acute care setting

* Serv Safe certification preferred

* Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, electronic medical records, and diet office systems

* Experience working with unionized teams preferred
