Medical Billing Manager

A growing medical supply company is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Medical Billing Manager to lead and optimize its billing department. This full-time, on-site position involves overseeing the submission and tracking of insurance claims, resolving billing issues, and managing a small team responsible for billing and accounts receivable.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical billing and a deep understanding of insurance claims, denial management, and EMR systems—preferably Brightree. This is a hands-on role suited for someone who is organized, proactive, and ready to take ownership of front-end billing operations.

Responsibilities Include:

• Overseeing the submission of clean and timely insurance claims

• Identifying and addressing rejected, denied, or unbilled claims

• Managing a team of billing and A/R staff and ensuring departmental efficiency

• Collaborating with the finance team to maintain accurate records

• Monitoring claim aging reports and improving collection timelines

• Maintaining compliance with billing regulations and company policies

Ideal Qualifications:

• Proven experience in medical billing, preferably within the medical supply industry

• Familiarity with EMR systems;
  Brightree experience strongly preferred

• Knowledge of insurance terminology, claim workflows, and A/R processes

• Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills

• Ability to manage a small team and implement efficient billing practices

• Full-time, on-site role in Brooklyn

• Hours:
  
  9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

• Team environment with approximately 10 staff members

Salary: $100k - $130k/Year
