Pride Health is hiring a Transplant Data Coordinator to support our client’s medical facility based in New York, NY 10032. This is a 12-week assignment with the possibility of a contract-to-hire opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

New York, NY 10032 W2 Pay (Local): $28/hr - $32/hr

Schedule:

Monday–Friday | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Transplant Data Coordinator to support our transplant services team in a fast-paced healthcare environment. This role will primarily support kidney transplant patients while working within the Liver Transplant unit. The ideal candidate will have strong administrative experience, knowledge of medical terminology and coding, and the ability to coordinate insurance authorizations and patient documentation accurately.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and maintain transplant patient records and documentation
  • Obtain and manage insurance authorizations, including third-party and government payers
  • Utilize medical terminology and ICD-9/ICD-10 coding appropriately
  • Enter and maintain accurate data using Microsoft Office applications and internal systems
  • Communicate with patients, providers, and insurance companies regarding treatment approvals
  • Ensure compliance with departmental and regulatory standards
  • Support transplant team operations and patient tracking processes
Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and ICD-9/ICD-10 codes
  • Experience working with insurance companies and obtaining prior authorizations
  • Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently in a structured clinical setting

Previous transplant, specialty clinic, or hospital experience required.
