Sodexo is seeking a Patient Services Manager 2 for NYC Health + Hospitals / Carter
, a 200-bed Long Term Care facility and 165-bed Nursing Facility located in upper Manhattan, New York
.

This is a key leadership role within a healthcare environment focused on delivering exceptional patient dining experiences. The Patient Services Manager 2 will report directly to the General Manager and oversee a team of approximately 37 union employees supporting a restaurant-style patient dining program, including in-room service.

• Oversee day-to-day patient dining operations

• Manage, mentor, and support a team of approximately 37 union frontline employees

• Ensure consistent execution of restaurant-style and in-room dining services

• Lead training and onboarding of new team members with a strong focus on patient services excellence

• Drive patient satisfaction initiatives and service recovery efforts

• Ensure compliance with HACCP, regulatory requirements, and Sodexo standards

• Collaborate closely with clinical staff and hospital leadership to enhance the patient experience

• Prior union management experience in healthcare food service and patient services (required)

• Strong leadership and team development skills

• Experience managing high-volume patient dining programs

• Knowledge of regulatory compliance and food safety standards

• Ability to work collaboratively within a long-term care or healthcare setting

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degreeor equivalent experience
Minimum Management Experience - 2 years
Minimum Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
