Join a close-knit team of Blood Bank Technologists in our transfusion medicine department. Here, you will gain more experience with analysis not being performed anywhere else, including rare opportunities with antibody identification and immunohematology problems. Perform laboratory procedures in preparing and dispensing blood and blood products as ordered by physicians. Be at the forefront of maintaining inventory of blood and blood products for our patients in accordance with departmental guidelines.

This is a Per Diem position needed for Day-shift coverage.

• Perform laboratory procedures in preparing and dispensing blood and blood products as ordered by physicians.
• Maintain inventory of blood and blood products in accordance with departmental guidelines.
• Engage in antibody identification and immunohematology problem-solving opportunities.

• ASCP certification
• Prior Blood Bank experience

• A Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology (or equivalent experience)
• New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist licensure from the New York Education department

Salary Range
$68.25/Hourly
