MS in Physician Assistant Studies (MSPAS)

A private academic institution in Forest Hills, NY is launching a new Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies (MSPAS) program and is seeking experienced Physician Assistants to join as Principal Faculty at the Assistant or Associate Professor level (rank based on experience).

The 24-month program (12 months didactic + 12 months clinical) is in the ARC-PA provisional accreditation process and plans to welcome its first cohort in 2027. This is a full-time, primarily on-site role reporting to the Program Director.

• Help build and shape a new PA program
• Teach, mentor, and influence the next generation of PAs
• Opportunity to focus on didactic and/or clinical education

• Teach in didactic and clinical phases (lectures, labs, simulation, OSCEs)
• Support curriculum development and program assessment
• Advise and mentor PA students
• Participate in admissions and student recruitment
• Assist with accreditation activities and clinical site development
• Collaborate closely with program leadership and faculty

• Graduate of an ARC-PA accredited PA program
• Current NCCPA certification
• NY PA license (or eligibility)
• Minimum 3 years of clinical PA experience
