Overview

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Ultrasound Technologist to perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations and support radiologists in patient care. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who values accuracy, teamwork, and patient safety.

Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist

Location: Long Island City, NY 11102

Schedule: (8x5)

Shift: Day

Pay Range: $/ week

• Perform and assist with ultrasound examinations following established protocols
• Prepare patients and explain procedures to ensure comfort and cooperation
• Operate, adjust, and maintain ultrasound equipment; ensure safety standards are met
• Capture and transfer images to PACS and physician workstations
• Maintain supplies and perform routine equipment care
• Assist with training and mentoring new ultrasound staff
• Schedule exams, answer phones, and coordinate patient transport as needed

• ARDMS-certified Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS)
• BLS certification required
• Associate’s Degree in Diagnostic Medical Technology or completion of an accredited ultrasound program
• Minimum 2 years of ultrasound technologist experience
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability
