In addition to the duties and responsibilities of a physical therapist, the Clinical Specialist serves as a clinical resource to staff, provides input to clinical programming, and participates in departmental and hospital education programs and service excellence initiatives. Must have well-rounded experience working in acute care and inpatient rehabilitation. The ideal candidate must have experience working with a variety of diagnoses including patients with stroke, post-surgical protocols, trauma, oncology and complications related to an ICU stay.

This is a full-time position with shifts on Monday-Friday, 8:30A - 4:30P, with intermittent weekend and holiday coverage.

• 5 years of experience working with a variety of neurological diagnoses
• Experience working on acute care services, cardiopulmonary and inpatient rehabilitation.

• 2 years of experience as a practicing Physical Therapist
• Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy
• New York State Physical Therapy License
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification

Salary Range: $128,700-$149,000/Annual
