Performs diagnostic, habilitative, and rehabilitative services related to the Auditory and Vestibular systems on both adults and children.

• Determine appropriate test type, procedure, and length of evaluation
• Analyze findings and make appropriate recommendations
• Determine appropriate referrals
• Determine appropriate follow-up
• Determine appropriate habilitative or rehabilitative strategies
• Audiometers experience
• Immittance bridges experience
• Auditory Brainstem Response equipment
• Videonystagmography / Electronystagmography equipment experience
• Otoacoustic Emission equipment experience
• Otoscopes experience
• Proficiency in Montefiore's current electronic medical record system, EPIC, and working knowledge of EMR and EPF.

• Doctor of Audiology ( Au.D.) as of 2007
• NYS Licensure in Audiology
• NYS Hearing Aid Dispensers License
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC/A)

Note:

Audiologists graduating prior to 2007 need to have a Master's Degree in Audiology, along with NYS Licensure in Audiology as well as a NYS Hearing Aid Dispensers License, and CCC/A.
