Job description:
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills. Professionalism and patient care are priorities. Team player attitude; detail-oriented; good leadership. Must have EMR experience: WEB PT_ data entry, record and data update, schedule patient on a regular basis and follow up missed visits. Verify medical insurance benefits. Calling insurance companies to verify patient benefits is a core function of this role.
Must be well experienced in authorization, update referral/RX, and collect co-pays. Continuously check front desk group email for patient inquiries, completed forms, and follow ups that require action. Must know how to complete registration and forms in an orderly manner. Maintains a neat and orderly waiting area and work space. Adheres to and enforces company policies, protocols, and procedures daily.
Assists with various duties as directed by therapists and admin staff.

- EMR experience: WEB PT_ data entry, record and data update, scheduling, and follow-up of missed visits.
- Verify medical insurance benefits and contact insurance companies to confirm coverage.
- Authorization processing, update referrals/RX, and collect co-pays.
- Monitor front desk group email for patient inquiries, forms, and follow-ups requiring action.
- Complete registrations and forms in an orderly manner.
- Maintain a neat waiting area and workspace.
- Adhere to company policies, protocols, and procedures daily.
- Assist with duties as directed by therapists and admin staff.
- Minimum 3-5 years of front desk admin experience in healthcare, including routing calls and schedule management, billing, etc.
- Experience in ICD-10 CPT terminology.
- Knowledge in any Practice, Medisoft, E-change, or medical billing software.
- Experience with Quick Books and daily updates.
- Able to work flexible hours and weekends.
- Experience:
Insurance and scheduling computer skills: 2 years (Required). - Languages:
English – Advanced;
Spanish – Advanced. - Employment:
Full-time. - Schedule:
Monday to Friday. - Salary: $17 – $20 hourly.
