Compensation: $85,000 – $95,000/year

Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (On-site)
TAG Med Staffing is hiring a Clinical Nutrition Sales Specialist in New York, NY for our client, driving parenteral nutrition referral growth across hospitals, physician practices, and post-acute settings. In this on-site role, you will support home infusion onboarding, payer qualification, ACHC compliance, and nutrition support collaboration. Ideal candidates are Registered Dietitians (RD/RDN) with active New York licensure and 2+ years of parenteral nutrition or home infusion experience.
Responsibilitiesas the Clinical Nutrition Sales Specialist:
- Referral Development & Territory Growth:
Call on hospitals, physicians, clinics, and skilled nursing facilities to generate parenteral nutrition referrals and expand market presence. - Clinical Education & Provider Engagement:
Serve as a clinical expert on parenteral nutrition, delivering in-services and educational support to providers and care teams. - Patient Onboarding & Coordination:
Support referral management, obtain required documentation, verify payer eligibility, and ensure safe transition to home infusion services. - Regulatory & Intake Compliance:
Oversee intake processes to ensure compliance with ACHC standards, government regulations, and payer requirements. - Nutrition Support
Collaboration:
Participate in nutrition support team meetings and coordinate plans of care to support optimal patient outcomes.
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related clinical field required (advanced clinical training preferred). - Licensure & Certification:
Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) required with active New York State licensure and current registration through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR). - Experience:
2+ years of experience in parenteral nutrition, home infusion, or clinical nutrition support within hospital or specialty pharmacy settings required. - Industry Knowledge:
Strong understanding of home infusion workflows, payer qualification requirements, ACHC accreditation standards, and interdisciplinary nutrition support practices. - Technical
Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems preferred. - Skills & Attributes:
Strong leadership, consultative sales, and presentation skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, exercise professional judgment, maintain confidentiality, and build collaborative relationships in a dynamic healthcare environment.
