General Ultrasound Technologist

Healthcare organization located in New York, NY (10028) seeks a General Ultrasound Technologist (ARDMS certification).

We are looking for a professional with 3+ years of experience in independent operation of ultrasound equipment, and for performing and communicating results of diagnostic examination to the physician.

This is a permanent role. Hourly pay rate between $45.00 and $55.00 (based on relevant work experience) within a 40-hour work week.

On-site 5 days per week.

Job will start Jan. 26 th, 2026.

• Perform clinical assessment and diagnostic ultrasound examinations
• Review ultrasounds, synthesize ultrasound information, medical history, and communicate findings to the appropriate physician
• Responsible for the safety, mental and physical comfort of patients while they are in the technologist’s care
• Assist with the daily operations of the Ultrasound Department
• Establish and maintain ethical working relationships with all interrelating hospitals
• Perform all requested sonographic examinations as requested by the attending physician

• 3 years' prior Ultrasound experience
• ARDMS certified
• Excellent organizational skills
• Effective communicator, comfortable interacting with different people and departments
• Must be very organized and able to manage time extremely well
• Must be a dependable team player who works collaboratively and cooperatively with others in a team-oriented environment
