LMSW/LCSW Therapist Openings l & Associates
New York City/State (Hybrid – In‑person and Telehealth)
About UsDr. Kull & Associates is seeking exceptionally self‑motivated, independent LMSWs and LCSWs to join a small, carefully curated psychotherapy group practice. Founded to offer an alternative to volume‑driven, impersonal models of care, our practice emphasizes clinical learning over business growth, fair compensation, and sustainable caseloads. We are rooted in psychoanalytic thought and contemporary relational approaches, and committed to helping therapists build meaningful, long‑term practices in a rapidly changing and competitive landscape.
This is a role for clinicians who take initiative—not only in their clinical development but also in shaping a private practice of their own. While we provide access to in‑network referrals, we are especially interested in therapists motivated to grow their self‑pay caseloads, invest in learning, and engage in serious, relationally grounded therapeutic work.
Dr. Kull & Associates was founded by Dr. Ryan M. Kull to create the kind of clinical environment he wished for earlier in his own career—intellectually rigorous, relationally alive, and grounded in real mentorship. Trained at NYU’s Postdoctoral Program in Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis, Dr. Kull brings 25 years of experience as a clinician and educator to his associate team. He previously founded and led Kip Therapy, a New York‑based group practice known for its focus on identity, sexuality, and relational work.
Our practice is deliberately small and selective, offering space for therapists to engage deeply with clinical material, theory, and the complexities of the therapeutic relationship. Weekly seminars and case discussions are central to our model, as is the belief that supervision is a site for both professional and personal growth. Our work is grounded in psychoanalytic and relational thinking—with close attention to subjectivity, enactment, and the use of self in the room.
We also support clinical exploration at the frontier of mental health—including Ketamine‑Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) and other emerging psychedelic treatments—as part of our ongoing commitment to reflective, ethically grounded innovation.
