5 days/week Every weekend is worked

(Saturday & Sunday are part of the regular schedule) Two consecutive weekdays off each week —

Tuesday/Wednesday or Wednesday/Thursday Acute inpatient hospital setting, including

ED and Psychiatry coverage Weekends/Holidays:

Weekends required | Holidays per hospital need Training/Orientation:

Approximately

2 weeks of onsite orientation/training Training schedule:
Monday–Friday,

9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Includes hospital onboarding and

Job Summary:

We are seeking a

licensed Inpatient Hospital Pharmacist

to support an acute care hospital pharmacy. This contract role focuses on inpatient medication verification, IV/sterile compounding, and clinical pharmacy support for units including

Emergency Department and Psychiatry .

Key Responsibilities Review, verify, and dispense medications for

inpatient hospital units Prepare and verify

IV medications and sterile compounded products Support medication needs for

acute care areas , including

ED and Psychiatric units Ensure compliance with hospital policies, medication safety standards, and regulatory requirements Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and pharmacy technicians to support patient care Document medication activity using

EPIC or similar EMR systems Assist with medication reconciliation and order verification Maintain IV room and cleanroom standards per sterile processing guidelines Qualifications & Requirements Active New York State Pharmacist license (required) Bachelor’s degree or higher in Pharmacy Minimum

1 year of experience as a Pharmacist Prior

hospital or inpatient pharmacy experience preferred

Experience with

IV room operations and sterile compounding Familiarity with

EPIC or similar EMR systems preferred Ability to work

evening shifts (3:30 PM – 12:00 AM)

and

weekend rotations Ability to complete a

2-week onsite training/orientation

(Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
