Location: Ridge, NY
Hours/Days: Monday - Friday; 8:30am-5:00pm

In This Role, You Will:Incident & Risk Review
- Review patient incident reports to ensure standards of care are met and identify trends or opportunities for improvement.
- Review employee incident and injury reports and collaborate with appropriate departments for follow-up.
- Assist with and participate in Root Cause Analyses (RCAs) and development of action plans.
- Track and monitor incident trends, providing summaries and recommendations to leadership.
- Conduct ongoing chart reviews for accuracy, completeness, regulatory compliance, and adherence to clinical protocols.
- Support preparation for regulatory visits, audits, and accreditation surveys.
- Assist in developing, updating, and communicating clinical policies and procedures based on regulatory requirements and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with organizational, state, and federal rules affecting clinical operations.
- Serve as a clinical resource for compliance-related questions or concerns.
- Prepare written reports, summaries, and findings for leadership and committees.
- Collaborate with clinical managers, human resources, and quality teams to support organizational safety goals.
- Work closely with senior leadership to develop, implement, and deliver clinical education.
- Provide staff education related to compliance issues, clinical standards, incident prevention, and patient safety.
- Support onboarding needs and ongoing competency training for clinical staff.
- Additional duties may be required as needed.
- Valid New York State RN License
- Minimum 3-5 years of clinical experience within a healthcare organization
- Experience conducting chart reviews, incident evaluations, or participating in quality/safety programs
- Strong understanding of clinical standards of care and patient-safety principles
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills
- Prior experience in clinical compliance, risk management, quality, or patient-safety roles
- Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality
- Excellent communication, documentation, and training abilities
- Familiarity with incident-reporting systems, EMRs, and quality-management tools
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Salary:
Starting at $48 per hour based on experience - Benefits:
