Opportunity Details Medicus is collaborating with a hospital in central New York that has an opening for a Pathologist to provide locum coverage.

About the Opening:
Level III Trauma facility

Schedule:

9-hour day shifts No call requirement Annual Volume: 13k surgical specimens and 3k cytology specimens Responsible for grossing your own specimens and cutting your own frozen sections

Required Skills:

Surgical pathology and cytology Team Structure: 4 pathologists, 5 histotechnologists, 1 pathology assistant, 2 cystotechnologists EMR:
Epic/Beaker Must be board-certified Paid travel & expenses During your time off, walk scenic trails around a large glacial lake, visit a hands-on science and technology center, and browse farmers' markets featuring local produce and specialties.
