Requirements:

• Some experience in Nursing Home or LTC facility/ hospital preferred

• Valid photo

• High School diploma or equivalent

• Physical & 1 PPD/X-Ray (Physical, 1 PPDs - dated less than 1yr old)

• MMRs (Lab Work, Titers)

Housekeeper duties and responsibilities

Housekeepers ensure that the facility stays clean and the environment looks clean, neat and presentable. Housekeeper may include the following duties:

• Wiping and polishing furniture and fixtures

• Dusting, mopping, cleaning windows and cleaning bathrooms in resident rooms

• Buffing and mopping hallway floors and resident rooms

• Cleaning and disinfecting equipment at the end of their shift

• Clean and disinfect bathrooms, washing mirrors and replenishing bathroom supplies. Housekeepers are responsible for emptying trash cans and cleaning air vents.

• Clean furnishings and horizontal surfaces to remove dust and dirt.

• Observe potential maintenance issues or resident problems, then report them to management.

• Cleaning and disinfecting high touch areas such as elevators, railing in the hallways.
