DAYS/SHIFT:

Days Vary - this is a four-day work week, 8:00am - 6:30pm

• Performs therapeutic and diagnostic respiratory procedures for patients with cardiopulmonary abnormalities.
• Provides respiratory support to all patients with abnormalities of cardiopulmonary function.
• Responds to and provides assistance with cardiopulmonary arrests.
• Administers and monitors of all diagnostic and therapeutic modalities within the service’s scope of practice.
• RT may also be required to train PCT/LPN staff to perform PFT/Spirometry and required to provide PFT and/or training services at multiple locations as needed.
• Maintains all respiratory equipment.

• Graduate of an AMA Respiratory Program or Certificate of completion from an AMA accredited program.
• Current NYS Respiratory Therapist License. CRT, RRT or Registry Eligible by the National Board for Respiratory Care (CRT may perform procedures under the supervision of an RRT).
• Current BLS by the American Heart Association.
• One - twoyears of experience in Respiratory Therapy preferred.
