Position Summary:

Joining our leadership team at Vida Guidance Center – Urban Health Plan's Article-31 Mental Health Clinic – we are seeking a dynamic Clinical Lead Manager (LCSW). The Clinical Lead Manager will support the Director of Vida Guidance Center with the success of our center, provide direct clinical supervision of therapists (LMSW, LMHC, LCATs) on the team, and ensure high-quality, evidence-based behavioral health services.

The role involves supervising staff, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care, access, and overall program performance.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Master's degree in social work required at minimum.
  • NYS Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
  • Bilingual English and Spanish strongly preferred to best serve our patient populations.
  • 5+ years of proven expertise in clinical therapy with the ability to clinically supervise other professionals (ideal background in Article-31 setting).
  • Strong familiarity with diagnosis, mental health treatment, and evidence-based modality.
  • Understanding of regulatory compliance needs within ambulatory settings.
Key Duties
  • Provides clinical supervision and support for staff; monitors performance standards and supports needs.
  • Ensures documentation compliance in accordance with OMH standards.
  • Supports team-based approach to assure highest delivery of care outcomes.
  • Provides timely and appropriate assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and intervention of patients; coordinates care with interdisciplinary teams.
  • Ensures appropriate selection of treatment modality to patient's presenting problem.
  • Determines urgency of patient's need; provides treatment for children, adolescents, adults, and elderly.
  • Provides clinical consultation in an integrated health care environment regarding family interactions, socio-cultural determinants, and community resources.
  • Consults with Program Director and/or Psychiatrist on individual patients who do not improve and participates in clinical decision-making for stepped-up care and referral.
  • Maintains and builds linkages with Mental Health Institutions, Alcohol and Other Drugs, Social Services, Hospitals, and other community resources.
  • Participates in QM and CQI activities.
  • Acts as a resource to other UHP providers; collaborates with physicians and other providers to develop and implement treatment and intervention programs that patients can understand and comply with.
  • Manages decision to admission, waitlist, and other Article 31 regulatory requirements.
  • Helps oversee the line staff to assure that all processes are followed accordingly.
Starting Compensation

Minimum $100,000 per year;
Maximum $115,000 per year.

Work Environment Type, Location, and Schedule

The position is onsite; 5 day/week Monday to Friday schedule in Bronx, NY for 40 regular hours per week.
