About Gentell

Gentell is one of the largest vertically integrated wound care companies in the world, based in Yardley, PA with offices, distribution centers and manufacturing plants worldwide. Our purpose is to make a positive difference in the quality of life for the injured, the chronically ill and those near the end of life.

Our success is a result of the talents, dedication and commitment of our people to drive our business forward. We provide career advancement opportunities through Gentell University, leadership development programs and executive mentoring.

We are looking for a licensed nurse, physical therapist, occupational therapist or LPN who lives within the New York City area and is willing to travel to facility locations across multiple sites. Day travel and some overnights may be required, including early morning wound rounds based on facility schedules. Periodic corporate training may involve flight travel and hotel stays; travel arrangements are made and paid for through our travel management system with reimbursement of incidental expenses.

We are committed to the health and safety of our employees and customers. Employees are required to self-monitor for COVID-19 symptoms and follow all CDC and CMS guidelines. We provide full PPE for employees conducting facility visits and tools for telehealth when remote service is needed.

Responsibilities
  • Work with long-term care facilities in a designated territory to assist with wound assessments and treatment decisions
  • Monitor proper application and utilization of wound care products
  • Understand Medicare documentation and reimbursement guidelines
  • Educate facility staff on documentation that meets federal and state requirements
  • Order wound care products through our internal system "Fast Care" for residents to receive their products
  • Support facility wound care programs by assisting with tracking, documentation, and understanding of the wound care products coverage guidelines
Requirements
  • Valid healthcare license (RN, LPN, PT, OTR-L, DPM or similar) preferred; certification in the first year acceptable
  • Exemplary customer-service skills
  • Business savvy and sales-minded
  • Self-starter who can work independently
  • Hard-working and motivated
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Resident of the designated area and willing to travel daily

This role has a pay range of $75,000 to $105,000 annually based off experience.
