Job Description
Residence Counselors provide care and therapy for clients in temporary treatment facilities, handling emergency situations, guiding outings, and assisting with transportation.
Qualifications- High School Diploma or GED/TASC required
- Experience in mental health, crisis intervention, and managing trauma‑triggered behavior preferred
- Strong time management, communication, and listening skills. Ability to work well in a team.
- Good conflict resolution skills
- Bachelor’s degree in a health‑related field strongly preferred
- Knowledge of AWARDS
- Willingness to perform CPR/First Aid/AED/CPI/Naloxone
All positions are in hospitals, nursing homes, CBOs, and clinics. These facilities are open 24 hours/7 days each week.
- General shift availability:
- Days (7a‑3p or 8a‑4p)
- Evenings (3p‑11p or 4p‑12a)
- Nights (11p‑7a or 12a‑8a)
- Every other weekend is usually required for all positions.
COVID-19 Vaccination is required.
