RELION Pharmacy, NY is seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Pharmacy In-Charge to join our team. We are seeking a licensed and experienced Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) / Pharmacy Manager to oversee daily pharmacy operations in a fast‑paced professional environment in New York City. The ideal candidate will ensure safe, accurate, and efficient dispensing of medications while maintaining full regulatory compliance and delivering excellent patient care.

• Supervise and manage all pharmacy operations
• Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations
• Verify prescriptions and oversee medication dispensing accuracy
• Provide patient counseling and clinical support
• Manage and train pharmacy staff
• Maintain inventory control and medication safety standards
• Coordinate with physicians and healthcare providers
• Ensure proper recordkeeping and audit readiness
• Accurately dispense prescription medications to patients.
• Provide detailed counseling on medication usage, potential side effects, and interactions.
• Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local pharmacy regulations.
• Maintain accurate records and manage controlled substances responsibly.
• Oversee and train pharmacy staff to ensure adherence to best practices.
• Work with healthcare providers to manage and improve patient care.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels to prevent shortages and overstock.
• Handle insurance claims processing and reimbursement efficiently.
• Address and resolve patient inquiries and concerns professionally.

• Active Pharmacist License in the State of New York (required)
• Minimum 1-2 years experience in retail or hospital pharmacy
• Prior experience as PIC or pharmacy leadership preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Knowledge of pharmacy laws and compliance standards

• Strong leadership and team management
• Attention to detail and high accuracy in dispensing medications
• Excellent communication and patient counseling skills
• Knowledge of prescription drugs, interactions, and therapeutics
• Inventory management and controlled substance handling
• Regulatory compliance (DEA, FDA, NY State Board of Pharmacy)
• Problem‑solving and decision‑making under pressure
• Ability to work in fast‑paced healthcare environments
• Proficiency with pharmacy software systems (e.g., Rx dispensing systems, EMR tools)
• Organizational and time management skills
