Pediatric Occupational Therapist

We are looking for passionate and dynamic Pediatric Occupational Therapists to join our team at Mighty Minds and Muscles Therapy & Coaching Services. Our team is growing, and we have flexible, part-time to full-time opportunities available for both school-based and clinic-based work.

For the school-based setting, we encourage and train our therapists to think "out of the box" - bringing the quality and creativity of private practice into the educational environment. You will work in schools but not be bound by the "school therapy" mindset. If your passion lies in helping kids thrive through movement, play, and functional skill-building — not just seated handwriting drills — then you’ll thrive with us.

In the clinic-based setting, you will receive ongoing mentorship and support through both individual and group meetings. If you want to take your OT career to the next level, we will help you do that! We want dynamic, enthusiastic therapists who are self-driven and independent but who want to seek mentorship to grow their therapeutic mindset and tool bag.

• School-based caseloads available in all 5 NYC boroughs:
  Manhattan, Brooklyn, Bronx, Staten Island, Queens
• Clinic-based work:
  Tribeca, Manhattan
• Home-based sessions:
  All areas of NYC

• Combination School and Clinic OT Roles
• School based only
• Clinic based only

Flexible hours:
Monday to Friday (for school caseloads) and Monday to Sunday (for clinic/home visits). Part-time or Full-time opportunities available – you choose your schedule. Weekend availability is a plus.

• Master’s or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy
• Active New York State OT License
• Pediatric experience required (including sensory integration, handwriting, and self-regulation strategies)
• Creative, motivated, disciplined, and confident working independently
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

• 1099 contractor position with hourly contracted rate; traditional employee benefits are not included, but mentorship, professional development opportunities, ongoing training, team gatherings, and appreciation perks are provided
• Compensation within the range will be determined based on experience, skill set, service type, and responsibilities
• New graduates start at $65-80/hr for direct services; higher rates for approved indirect or administrative time. Experienced clinicians start at $85-100/hr and above, with opportunities for higher rates depending on background and contract needs
