Location: New York

Northwest ASC has an immediate need for a Part Time Radiology Technician.

Job Summary

The Radiology Technician will perform multiple procedures under the direction of specialized physicians, including C-Arm operations on orthopedic, podiatry, hand, spine, and pain management surgery and procedures. Skilled at sterile field assistance during operating room and other procedures.

Key Duties
  • Orthopedic Radiology, Operating Room Radiology
  • Radiology
  • Perform Pain Blocks
  • File and log in OR X-Rays
  • Report system of radiology findings to physician

Part-time hours: 20-29 hours per week.

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, no call required, no nights, no weekends, no holiday work hours.

Required Skills
  • Graduate of an accredited program in Radiology Technology or X Ray Technology
  • 1+ years of experience in C-Arm and portable x-rays in operating room setting
  • ARRT Registered, State MRT and CPR current
  • Knowledge of local, state, federal and Joint Commission Regulations
  • Independent decision-making skills
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects
  • Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients and families
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and departmental supply items required
