Pharmacy Technician
Position Overview
Day Shift – 7.5 Hours (United States of America)
Responsibilities- Fill medication orders
- Fill patient cassettes
- Fill and maintain point‑of‑care automation
- Make deliveries and pick‑ups to and from patient care areas
- Fill all stock requisitions
- Unpack and stock daily orders
- Properly store all medications
- Pre‑pack medications
- Perform assigned floor inspections
- Track returned and expired medications
- Maintain inventory records
- Follow appropriate waste management procedures
- Perform IV admixture batching and preparation
Hospital/Retail experience or RUMC Pharmacy internship or externship preferred and/or completion of Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) program preferred.
Education Requirements- High School Diploma (required)
- Pharmacy Intern permit (preferred)
- Pharmacy Technician Certification (required)
- Basic mathematical & computer knowledge (required)
- Successful completion of all orientations and competencies
Days with employee‑off weekends & holidays; 7a‑3p; 3p‑11p
Salary Range$27.612/hr - $29.394/hr (Commensurate with Experience)
