** Part-Time** (24 hours minimum) Physical Therapy Assistant , (PTA), position is now available in our sub-acute/skilled nursing rehab department located in Queens in
** Jamaica**,
** NY.
*** Facility is located in Queens, NY and conveniently located to the LIRR St. Albans station. Facility has a 250 bed capacity with a mostly long-term care Veteran population. Therapists will perform evaluations, treatments, patient/family education - caregiver training while working with a diverse and friendly multi-disciplinary team that works well together. Our rehab department is a close knit community of supportive coworkers and supervisor.

Hours are flexible. The Veterans served us, it's our turn to serve them! SNF experience is preferred and Net Health experience a plus.

** Requirements:
*** Provide comprehensive and compassionate therapy services in a sub-acute/skilled nursing facility setting
* Work collaboratively with other rehab therapists and nursing staff in a supportive team-working environment
* Possess a current Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license or be license eligible to practice in the state employed
* Demonstrate strong computer skills with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and have experience with electronic documentation
* Demonstrate good attention to detail and timeliness with documentation
* Work well with others in a team setting.
** Good Faith Rate Range:** $28.00 - $34.00
