Position: Receptionist for Physical Therapy Office (Fluent in Cantonese/Chinese and English)
Location: New York

A Physical Therapy office located on 86th Street in Brooklyn is seeking a dedicated and professional Receptionist fluent in both Cantonese/Chinese and English to join our team. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a crucial role in providing a welcoming and efficient environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle emails and answer phone calls in a timely and professional manner.
  • Schedule patient appointments and manage the calendar.
  • Add new patients to the EMR system accurately.
  • Check patients in for their appointments and verify their eligibility for physical therapy services.
  • Handle pre-authorization processes for treatments.
  • Maintain office KPI records.
  • Demonstrate excellent computer skills to manage office software and databases.
  • Provide courteous, friendly, and welcoming service to all patients.
  • Handle the ordering and management of office supplies.
  • Ensure the office is tidy and clean at all times.
  • Work effectively as part of a team to ensure smooth office operations.
Qualifications
  • Fluent in both English and Cantonese/Chinese.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office and EMR systems.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.
  • Friendly, courteous, and welcoming personality.
  • Team-oriented with a positive attitude.
  • Experience in a medical office is important; however, training and resources will be provided.
