Physical Therapist Assistants
** We are looking for caring and motivated
** Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs**) to join our team in all five Boroughs. Whether you’re an experienced PTA or just starting your career, we are here to support you.
** Responsibilities:
*** Deliver physical therapy interventions as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist and outlined in the Plan of Care.
* Assist patients with exercises, mobility training, gait, balance, and other therapeutic activities to support rehabilitation and safety.
* Monitor patient response to treatment and communicate changes or concerns to the supervising PT.
* Instruct patients and caregivers in home exercises and safe use of assistive devices or techniques.
* Accurately and promptly document all services provided in the electronic medical record (EMR).
* Maintain ongoing communication with the PT to ensure coordinated, effective care.
* Ensure compliance with agency, state, and federal guidelines, including HIPAA and CMS regulations.
* Travel to patient homes/facilities within assigned geographic areas.
* Participate in interdisciplinary case conferences and supervisory support as needed.

* Qualifications:

* Required:

** Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
* ** Licensure:
** Current and unrestricted license to practice as a PTA in the State of New York.
* ** Certification:
** Current CPR certification.
* Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
* Strong interpersonal, communication, and time management skills.
* ** Preferred:
** Experience in home health or rehabilitation settings.
