How

you'll contribute

The Mammo Tech performs diagnostic mammography procedures in accordance with established standards of practice to support accurate patient diagnosis and care in an acute care hospital setting. This role is responsible for reviewing patient history and physician orders, educating patients on procedures, and ensuring a safe, comfortable imaging experience. The Mammo Tech operates and maintains imaging equipment, performs quality control, and ensures compliance with MQSA and accreditation standards.

Additional responsibilities include monitoring patient condition, assisting with interventional procedures such as biopsies and needle localization, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring timely reporting and follow‑up in alignment with BI‑RADS guidelines. This position requires independent judgment, critical thinking, and the ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment.

What we’re looking for

Applicants should have

  • Graduate of an accredited Mammography or Radiologic Technology program required
  • Current Radiation Operator Certificate in state of practice; registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) in Radiology
  • Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification
