Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Occupational Therapist role based in New York, NY. The Occupational Therapist will assess children with brain-based injuries and disorders, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide direct therapy to improve functional skills in areas such as self-care, motor coordination, sensory processing, and participation in daily activities. The role involves collaborating closely with families and a multidisciplinary team, documenting progress, and adjusting interventions based on ongoing evaluation.
The Occupational Therapist will also contribute to care planning meetings, support educational programming, and participate in professional development activities aligned with iBRAINglobal’s mission.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Occupational Therapy and Rehabilitation, with experience in pediatric populations preferred.
- Foundational knowledge in Medicine and pediatrics relevant to brain-based injuries and developmental disorders.
- Excellent Communication skills for working with children, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
- Current license or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist in New York State.
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program; advanced training in neurorehabilitation is an asset.
- Ability to plan and deliver evidence-based interventions, maintain accurate documentation, and manage caseloads responsibly.
