A 29-year-old female is looking for a respite provider to assist her in the home while her mother is in the community as well as help her explore her community. She enjoys going to the library, bookstores, nature and metaphysical.

The individual prefers to work with a female, non-smoking staff. The ideal candidate would be patient, understanding and open to helping her to explore new experiences.

This is a part-time position, but additional hours are available with other people receiving services.

Hours and days of work:
From 1pm-6pm five days a week with ongoing flexibility arranged between candidate and the family.

Starting pay:
Starting pay is $17.50/hour and increases with years of relevant experience.

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to work independently in the person’s home and/or community.
• Reliable with effective communication and organizational skills
• No experience required but experience working with people with disabilities preferred.
• New York State Driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance is required; acceptable driving record required.
• Must have technology available to download multiple apps for use in the community.
• Must have a valid drivers license
• Effective communication and organizational skills required.
• Flexibility with assignments and schedule required.
• Reliable transportation to arrive to job site at scheduled time.
• Experience working with people with Developmental Disabilities preferred.
• Must have technology available to download multiple apps for use in the community and abide by ARISE/EFR'S technology policy.
