Clinical Account Consultant / Pharmacist – New York, NY
Health Care Support is looking for a strategic, client-focused Clinical Account Consultant who is passionate about transforming the pharmacy benefits experience. In this highly collaborative role, you'll serve as a trusted clinical advisor, partnering with clients to develop innovative formulary and clinical strategies that improve outcomes, manage trends, and deliver exceptional value.
Daily Responsibilities- Serve as the primary clinical consultant for clients, developing and implementing formulary, benefit, and clinical strategies that optimize outcomes, manage pharmacy trends, and support long‑term client success.
- Lead the clinical components of client implementations, plan changes, and formulary management, including gathering requirements, configuring clinical plans, performing quality reviews, and validating testing and claims outcomes.
- Analyze pharmacy claims data and clinical trends to deliver actionable insights and strategic recommendations, while clearly communicating complex clinical programs, formulary decisions, and drug information to clients.
- Partner cross‑functionally with Sales, Clinical Operations, Product, and Account Management to support client presentations, RFPs/RFIs, implementations, and continuous process improvement initiatives.
- Drive operational excellence by leading clinical initiatives, improving internal processes, supporting regulatory compliance, and ensuring adherence to the Code of Conduct.
- Monday - Friday 8:00am-5:00pm
- 3 days in office / 2 days remote
- Competitive base salary of $139,600 - $174,500 USD + up to 10% annual bonus

- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited institution
- Current, unrestricted registered pharmacist license(s)
- Relevant experience of 3-5 years in a health plan or pharmacy benefits management (PBM)
- Direct account management experience supporting clients across multiple lines of business
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with emphasis on Microsoft Excel
- Experience working with large datasets and analyzing raw data in Excel
- Ability to travel and present to small and large groups
