Home & Community Support Staff/PCA (Relief)

Cayuta, Hornell, Addison, Corning, Horseheads, Bath, NY

Pay: $18.36 per hour!

Become a Home & Community Support Staff/PCA (Relief) in our Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI)/Nursing Home Transition & Diversion (NHTD) Home Care Support Services program and help others in your own community! Nature of Work:
This position is responsible for the delivery of all HCSS activities as stated in the HCSS Plan. The HCSS/PCA must have excellent communication skills and must be capable of fostering relationships that value and support others. He or she must be a good role model in all settings and must be capable of utilizing opportunities to educate self and others.

The HCSS/PCA must be able to perform personal care, light housekeeping, food preparation, and mobility tasks, as physician ordered for each participant. The HCSS/PCA must be a self-starter capable of functioning with minimal supervision.

Minimum Qualifications:

• A High School diploma or GED is preferred. One-year experience in Human Services field preferred.
• HHA or PCA certificate recommended.
• COVID Vaccination or Valid Medical Exemption Required by NYS Department of Health.
