I have a new Histology Technician position available near Pleasant Valley, New York!
Details:
Full-time and permanent
Shift - 8:30am - 5:00pm (no weekends/holidays) (part-time also available)

Job Summary:
The Lead Histology Technician functions under the supervision and guidance of the Laboratory Manager and participates in the multidisciplinary process of delivering diagnostic information to providers. The Lead Histology Technician provides appropriate leadership and assistance in all areas of the Histology Department. Responsibilities include staff training and competency assessment, giving input into decision making, managing appropriate staffing levels for the needs of the workflow and maintenance of histology related LIS items.
Requirements:
College graduate
ASCP certification and NYS license
Prior experience and knowledge
